Both for institutions as a whole and for individual researchers, the acquisition of third-party funding is becoming increasingly important. This talk will provide an overview of the most important funding sources, especially programmes for postdocs (in the initial phase). In addition, it will inform about the application process and introduce the advisory services of the Service Centre for Research and Transfer.
