Basic knowledge in Business Administration is essential in today’s world. Even non-economists, and executives in particular, are required to possess basic economic skills. Managing projects, for example, besides technical knowledge, requires expertise in business modeling, value creation, marketing, human resources management, organisation, planing, controlling and finance, among others. What are the fundamentals of economic behaviour? Which terms, notions, concepts, and instruments are essential for economic success?
This introductory course provides an overview of core concepts in business administration. It covers topics such as economic outline - business enterprise in it’s environment, key aspects of legal and internal organization, economic frame conditions, enterprise objectives, procurement, production, sales and marketing, investment and financing, human resources, r&d, finances and business ratios.
Due to lively demand, we offer several business administration workshops in German and one in English. Please note that registration is only possible for one of the workshops.
