Course further information

You bring your projects and we help you improve them; whether it is a short script or an elaborate application.

Our Research Software Engineering (RSE) Hackathon offers you the opportunity to work on your research software projects together with the help of our RSE experts. In addition, you can exchange ideas and solutions with other participants. We begin with a discussion about non-coding tasks that are part of software development for reproducible research. This includes the use of version control software, writing software tests, and creating documentation, among others. The remainder of the day will be dedicated to working on your projects.

To participate effectively in this event, you should have basic programming skills and a task in mind that you wish to tackle using either your own or open-source software.
