Reference Management with EndNote
courseFurtherInformation
Reference management software packages have become an indispensable tool in the context of academic writing. Such software packages provide tools for classifying, indexing and commenting literature which is helpful both for knowledge management and working on scientific texts.
Your own literature database is the source for automatically adding citations and literature references in your texts. The citation style can be adjusted to often sophisticated regulations of publishing houses, journals or professional associations. This helps to avoid mistakes and saves time in the process of writing.
In this workshop you will get to know the reference management software package EndNote which is available for free for institutions, students and employees of the University of Jena. All the relevant software features will be introduced and applied on real-life examples (i.e. searching, entering, organising references and full texts; inserting references and bibliographies; integration of EndNote and word processing programmes).
