How long does it take to introduce your doctoral thesis to a complete stranger? We can prove, it won’t take longer than three minutes!
Every year, the university of Jena calls for the 3-Minute-Thesis® Competition, a university-wide contest for doctoral candidates to entertain and inform an audience about their dissertation. This renowned and popular competition format is now held in more than 150 countries worldwide, and has been a fun experience for both contestants and spectators. In Jena, we are proud to present 3MT in its tenth year.
To help contestants prepare for the competition, this workshop will give helpful instructions, best practice examples, and will prepare you with short training sessions, so that you may make the best of your 3 Minute Thesis® contribution.
