Most of us like to keep away from conflicts, especially in our professional encounters. In stressful situations, we have difficulties to analyse the different layers of “obvious” and “hidden” reasons for the opposition we face. Moreover, we seldom know how to defend or even clarify our point of view when we’re under pressure. To put it short: we’re badly prepared for conflict communication.
This workshop will focus on strategies to face professional conflicts and stressful communicative situations, both in verbal and nonverbal communication. With the help of a playful and practical-methodical approach to the topic, you will get an insight to your conflict behaviour and that of others, and get a first glimpse into the analysis of conflicting communication situations. As a special focus, we will look at some intercultural aspects of communication and conflicts.
